Need For Speed: World
Immersive Pursuit Overhaul
by TerraSphere_385

Due to Blackbox caving in to the demands of removing cops in free roam, the sense of danger in the streets disappeared and the game never felt as thrilling as the older games. Intended to increase immersion, this mod will return some of the lost sense of danger the cops gave you (Unfortunately, no free roam cops). Cops now feel as if they're the ones broadcast in live television, and cops can continously patrol the streets with more units. This was made with safety of the participating officers and the suspect in mind. Do not expect do-or-die tactics from the police, they will prioritize methodical tactics to stop you.

FEATURES:
========================= Removed Rhinos =========================
Dropped as it is too life-threatening for both the police officer and the suspect.

========================= Changed Police Cars =========================
You don't see sports cars as regular police cars that often, unless you live in Saudi Arabia.

========================= Decreased Spike Strip Chance =========================
Real spike strips can introduce real danger to not just the participants in the pursuit, but also to civilians as well.

========================= Added SUV and SUVL patrols =========================
SUVs patrol the streets in real life.

========================= Changed Roadblock Composition =========================
SUVs, SUVLs, and Interceptors are now the staple of roadblocks.

========================= Realistic Police Count during Pursuits =========================
Because immersion.

========================= Shortened Transition from Heat 1 to Heat 2 =========================
If you don't voluntarily surrender your vehicle, the heat goes to level 2. The cops are now dealing with a non-cooperative suspect and thus follow Heat 2 (Pursuit Protocol), not Heat 1 (Voluntary Surrender Protocol).

========================= Increased Cooldown Time =========================
Cops now look for you in realistic time. If you escape the cops in Heat 1, then it's just a minor offense and therefore not a big deal. If you escape in Heat 2, the cops are going to look for you as long as it takes in real life.

========================= More Police Patrols during Cooldown =========================
Every police is willing to respond to the search for the suspect. Police are supposed to converge on the last known location of the suspect. Vanilla cops only send 1 or 2 to find you. This mod sends all available units to search for you in your last known location.
