Also the Cop mechanic is terribly cancerous in this, you start Career mode [if] in a tier 1 muscle car SS and you get boxed by 20 Holden Monaro police inspectors, Most Wanted certainly never did that. Unless you own a car other than a tier 1 (which is all you have access to at the start) then you will be helpless to police. There is genuinely no self-defence against them unless you're in a supercar, in the context of the first races of this game. Such obscurely funny game design it's no wonder EA never did.

Why are people crashing out about anti-virus? It isn't malicious it is flagged as POTENTIALLY malicious by a detector, in particular solely the video game launcher. There is 1 file that is getting flagged, it is the exe launcher for NFSCO, bootstrapper.exe which is 290kb, the size of a 450x450 pixel png image. Windows Defender quarantines it as a potential Trojan, because Windows hasn't verified its safe source regardless of it being safe or not. Hence it gives the option for you to run it anyways.
