Better Sound Mod

The Better Sound Mod is a mod where the car engine sounds are replaced by sounds from the games made in the early 2000s (or just the ones that sounds more eargasmic)

NOTE: Frosty Mod Manager is needed to install 0.7 and up: Download here

-4th Update (25/02/2021)
- Overhauled the engine sounds, now all the sounds have a DCL and most of them ENG sounds (excluding GRID sounds) now they will sound a bit more natural.

-5th Update (28/03/2021)
- Overhauled the engine sounds (again) with a better importing technique, now should sound higher quality.
- Example with the 180sx
- Added an optional BMW M3 GTR sound + Louder whine
- Added more ENG and DCL samples.
- Fixed/Removed MW 05 M3 GTR burble sound.

-6th Update (15/05/2021)
- Exported to .fbmod
- Added optional Louder Straight Cut Gear
- Added optional Louder Forced Induction Noises
- Made Both MW05 and Realistic M3 GTR sound to be totally optional
- Updated Skyline R34 GT-R to Pro Street's Sound
- Added Subaru BRZ (NFS World | mit_eclip_c)
- Enhanced the Real M3 GTR Sound

FAQ:
Will i get banned for playing online?
No, this mod does not alter any sort of gameplay mechanics.

Does it work with pirated version of the game?
Maybe.

Can i reupload this mod somewhere else?
No.

@OverevGaming: Great mod, thank you. Any plans to make it compatible with UNITE 3.0? I love UNITE 3.0 but their sounds department still leaves a lot to be desired. I don't think they touched the engine sounds at all, which is a shame. I played with your mod a little bit and it's already a refreshing experience but that bug like Jayce mentioned, which also causes the game to "freeze" (as in can't go back, stuck in menus, even in the dealership) is ruining it, sadly.

@Jayce yeah unfortunately frosty's mod priority doesnt seem to change the finicky and overly specific size thingy for the chunk files

I used this mod in Unite 3.0 but when I browse the Engine swap list and rev test, engine sound disappears, cars go invisible when I switch cars, and I get stuck on the loading screen when leaving the garage. But when the engine swap list isn't touched, it works fine. I tried loading the mods in different orders too yet appropriate orders too.

@Antoninoturbo the next update will give you an option for the UG2 sound, about the unite compatibility i never checked into it

The mod itself is ok, shame for the R34 sound becouse is not the U2 OG one, but when i add the MW M3 GTR sound on the mod it doesn't work and make the game buggy. I am using unite 2.2 story mode compaatible if you ask.
