Need For Speed Rivals+ is a mod that significantly improves the graphics, gameplay and many other things. Version 5.0 has been released with many big improvements regarding the Graphics, more E3 content, a bigger list of add-ons, bug fixes, and many more new changes that will greatly amaze newcomers or supporters. - Now when you are going to install Rivals+, you will see three folders with different graphics:
Vanilla 2.0 is a version with vanilla graphics but slightly modified (Removed film grain, chromostereopsis, improved HBAO & E3 Reflections)
v2.2 is a version with slight graphical changes (basically Contrast and Saturation) & modded fog
v3.2.7 is a version with completely new graphics.
v5.0 is a version with Next-gen graphics.


Mod:

0. Collab with Cops2Racers & Heated :
- Cops2Racers is now compatible with Rivals+, make sure it's below Rivals+ when using both mods!! (I also tweaked the mod a bit since it needed it, BUT I still haven't managed to fix the C2R crashes that can happen, sorry about that. Hopefully, this doesn't ruin your Ultimate Reality Show experience too much.)
- The MP compatibility suggestion has become a reality, thank you for it and other suggestions by my Rivals+ Tester, Zephyr.

- Since most Undercover cars have received official manufacturer paint, the police badge is now less visible than on other versions of police cars, you have to drive much closer to the UC car to see the police badge and its health.

5. Physics :
- Removed "Steer To Drift" Physics (now there are only two drift physics: Brake To Drift and Handbrake To Drift),
- Improved collision physics, for example, if you are going to hit a wall with the front side of the car, it will have the most visible damage in the front. (In the Vanilla version, no matter how lightly and from which side you hit, the car would be damaged everywhere and all of the bumpers would fall off),
- More accurate downforce in all Cars.

6. Damage Model :
- Now, in Rivals+ the cars have an extended damage model, now the bumpers will fall off. But not all of the cars have the fully extended damage:

- When you will get hit by ESF and EMP. The screen will turn black-white for a second, Distortion is more intense, and then the screen will go back to normal.
- Removed the Green Racing line as it's almost non-existent in the game and it's not like in sim games where it also shows when to brake for example
- Races, Hot Pursuit etc. Icon size has been slightly reduced
- Ford GT Changing gears speed is more realistic than in the vanilla version
- SRT Viper TA Changing gears speed is more realistic than in the vanilla version
- The resolution in all cars is better than in the vanilla version
- More realistic MaxRPM/Redline for most cars

@therazorkille 1) "Stats don't seem to line up with actual car performance" It actually does, XJ220 has better acc than Murcielago, don't you believe me? do some testing at the abandoned airport. "This could be due to the Jag's NOS being tuned for duration vs power" not only Jaguar, all cars has more powerful NOS.
2) Actually you are wrong, not only I add more health to the racer side, I also nerfed the pursuit tech damage for all tech, and when someone rams you. It's improved, you just didn't realize it.

@therazorkille 1) "The AI racers are way too aggressive." Just get better in the game, I don't need to remind you that pursuit tech is available in this game. I've never had any problems with AI.
2) Ok, so it's Impossible for you, but many people never had any problems when driving with the jammer turned on, the same goes for me.

+ New turbo system. It feels more controllable and honestly makes more sense like this.
+ EMP lock-on works more like it did in HP2010. I like that way better.
I know the good-to-bad ratio in my feedback is unfavorable. It more has to do with a lot of the frustrating aspects of the base game being amplified. There's some genuinely good stuff here. Strangely, the 2.2 graphics version seems to crash a lot when things get intense. Both do crash whenever I try to exit to desktop.

Alright that was a LOT of malding. Time for some good:
+ Undercover cops as racers. I like this for the most part, but in some ways it makes the regular race cars kinda useless.
+ New graphics. Some won't notice, and I know I complained about the fog, but the more vibrant coloring makes the game feel a little livelier.
+ Removed steer to drift. I've never been a fan of B-T-D handling. I did manage to get used to it in this era of NFS games, but I'm glad that I now have control over triggering it.

Alright last one where I mald and seethe...
- Cops teleport just into visual range as you're trying to escape. This was an issue in the base game and has been turned all the way up to 11. It used to be like this until your total pursuit duration got long enough. I don't know if you increased the threshold for that or what, but this never stops happening now. The longer cooldown time exacerbates this further.
- Fog effect can be disorienting at times, especially when transitioning in and out.
