Ah, I figured it out. As long as you don't fast travel while inside an event/shop circle (when the top left icon appears) it won't bug anything. I had a 100% bug free playthrough this way.

Great mod, life saver. But sometimes using it will make me unable to enter shops/events and ESC to the menu, so I have to alt+f4...

@Rixon, (And for anyone with an “unsupported .exe” error) You need to download the file “speed2.exe” and place it into the root folder of the game.

Having an error saying 'unsupported .exe'. Any ideas what I can do to fix this?

Fast traveling to a shop during a Unique Parts time trial will soft lock your game.
Good news is you only need to reopen the game for it to go back to normal
