CREDITS & SOURCES:
Thanks to ThirteenAG for the NFS The Run Fusion Fix and Ultimate ASI Loader.
Thanks to Brawltendo for the IDA database and for the NFS Rivals framerate unlocker, which showed how the same class of bug was solved in a later Frostbite game.
Thanks to mRally2 for The Run Master Table and the TOD Randomizer. The traffic, assist, nitrous and time-of-day addresses came from that work, along with the per-level time-of-day table.
Texture Toolkit My own custom tool that allowed for the HD texture replacements. Works in almost every DX9/11 title.
NFSTR_DefinitiveEdition The main .asi for many of NFSTR:DE's features.
TRDE 1.3 Changelog:
- Reversed, researched and documented the nooks and crannies of this game, finally true FPS Unlocking is done
- Added a RunForYourLife mode (DEADLY RUN) for a fresh experience
- Time of day is now customizeable between random and night run in the ini
- Added various customizeable tuning knobs in the NFSTR_DefinitiveEdition's ini that were discovered during the reversing and researching process
- Forced the FOV to 60, for some weird reason Black Box thought 48 is a good default for a racing game
- Removed SpecialK and built and used my own tool called Texture Toolkit for proper HD texture modding
- Re-did the entire HDRI skyboxes, including those that I haven't done before, they now look even better and fresh
- Improved the quality of various textures I missed before such as some UI elements
- Improved every single vehicle's render
- Replaced Xan's Unlocker with FusionFix for NFS The Run
- Faster intro loading times courtesy of FusionFix
- Everything is unlocked by default courtesy of FusionFix
- And much more (yes, really, much more...)
TRDE 1.2 Changelog:
- Fixed crashes during the first Run mission
- Added HD car manufacturer logos
- Upscaled pre-renders of Aston Martin and Volkswagen cars
- Moved Xan's scripts and the FPS unlocked executable to optional add-ons
- Used the latest version of SpecialK

Obviously if the d3d11.ini file doesn't appear it's because you didn't start the game with the mod installed, you should get the error first and then the file will appear in the game folder :). Sorry for being late haha I didn't think I'd found a solution.STELL (January 05, 2025 @ 22:59)
You must go into the game folder, locate the d3d11.ini file. Go into the file with notepad and do the following:You must look in [Window.System], and set Fullscreen=true (normally it will be false, that is why you set it to true). In addition to that, in [Display.Output], ForceFullscreen=true so that it is also true. And that's it, you modify that and save the file and run the game.

I have the solution for you, friends, for those who get the pop-up screen when starting the game on DirectX
