Restored Beta Music
Audio levels are relatively consistent, and I shortened some song mixes in a way similar to how a lot of the retail songs are mixed. I didn't really bother with censorship, most of these songs aren't too explicit anyway.
Tracklist:
Marilyn Manson - Tainted Love
Sleigh Bells - Tell Em'
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Beat The Devil's Tattoo
Funeral Party - Car Wars
Does It Offend You Yeah? - Pull Out My Insides
Matt and Kim - Cameras
Refused - New Noise (The Bloody Beetroots Remix)
Diplo - Make You Pop (with Don Diablo)
Does It Offend You Yeah? - Over Your Shoulder
Lethal Bizzle - Go Go Go
T.I. - Ya Hear Me
Does It Offend You Yeah? - Wrestler (This Is The Dance)
Tinie Tempah - Frisky
The Futureheads - The Connector
Hadouken! - Turn The Lights Out
!!! (Chk Chk Chk) - The Hammer
Does It Offend You Yeah? - Home Is Where The Heart Is (after remaining unreleased for 13 years and being classified as lost media for the last 6 years it was crazily enough discovered less than a DAY after I initially finished and published the first version of the mod)
There's an optional extras folder which adds the following
OPTIONAL 1 Two extra tracks:
Deadmau5 - You Need A Ladder - Original version of Sofi Needs A Ladder, mentioned in the game files. Samples the Legend of Zelda theme. Was eventually replaced with the Sofi rendition.
Sleigh Bells - Crown On The Ground - Featured in the NFSHP Remastered trailer. Since one of their other tracks was originally slated to be in the game, I figured it might've been appropriate to add this one in as well. (Aaand there's also some slight bias at play, as I love Treats.) Hope you dig the distortion :)
OPTIONAL 2 Pull Out My Insides demo mix (used in beta builds):
Includes an unreleased demo version of Does It Offend You Yeah? - Pull Out My Insides which was the version used in pre-release beta builds. Is a lot more derivative of post-punk, far brasher.
P.S: I recommend setting the playlist order on shuffle in the game options, unless you don't mind the beta songs playing back-to-back. Re-organizing the entire playlist is a bit of a hassle for something so admittedly quaint. I may do it in a future update, as the game's shuffle mode can be a bit wonky.
