A_Person7778's ReShade Presets

This is several ReShade presets that aim to make the colors look more realistic, and also add more modern effects, such as ambient occlusion, bloom (this can be turned off if you don't want it), SMAA, and sharpening. There are multiple versions, each having different performance profiles, without sacrificing quality too much (I recommend "performance" personally). It might work for the first game, but I haven't tested it

1. Download ReShade (use the singleplayer version)

2. Start ReShade, and pick the game's exe

3. When asked what API the game runs in, choose DirectX9, unless using DXVK, in which case you'll need to pick Vulkan (DXVK may run these presets worse than DirectX9, in which case you can use the included "d3d9.dll" file to revert back)

4. When prompted to pick a preset, choose the preset of your choice ("ultra quality" is very intensive, and likely needs a pretty high-end card to run smoothly; "quality" ran at a basically locked 72 FPS on my GTX 1650, as did the other presets)

5. Install all of the shader packages that are already selected

6. In-game, disable anti-aliasing (the presets have their own SMAA solutions; anti-aliasing causes graphical glitches for whatever reason, and causes the reflections to have ambient occlusion applied to them), and disable "enhanced contrast" (the color correction was done assuming that it's off)

7. To disable effects (such as bloom), press the "home" key, and click the checkbox. They can be turned back on the same way

Ambient occlusion settings for each preset:

"Ultra Quality"- 255 samples at 100% resolution

"Quality"- 64 samples at 90% resolution

"Performance"- 24 samples at 75% resolution

"Ultra Performance"- 16 samples at 50% resolution
