E3 Filmic Camera and Graphics Enhancement

The aim of this mod is to increase the game's graphical fidelity to make it look more like the original E3 footage while re-enabling some of the filmic effects other mods like UNITE and Remastered disabled.

3 versions of the mod:
- Normal
- WorldRT (enables screen space ray tracing in the game world only)
- FullRT (enables screen space ray tracing in the garage and game world)
----There can be alot of artifacts on your car in the garage depending on the material and car shape, so if this bugs you, use the WorldRT version of the mod to disable the
increased RT in the garage

This mod can be used alongside others like UNITE and Remastered.

Place with priority over other mods so it overrides them.

MAKE SURE YOU READ THE README IN THE MOD'S ZIP FILE TO ENABLE THE FULL GRAPHICAL ENHANCEMENT. Just installing the mod won't enable everything.

Use this mod along with my Render Extender mod to double shadow render distance and force all objects to be much higher quality from farther away: https://nfsmods.xyz/mod/5728

1.1 (August 25, 2024)
- Imported NFS Unbound's reflection settings
- Allow screen space ray tracing to affect all materials for FullRT and WorldRT versions
- Added instructions in README to increase grass/bush draw distance and night sky quality

1.0 (August 18, 2024)
In the mod:
- Reduced the intensity of some of the game's filmic effects while still keeping them present to give the cinematic E3 feel
- Used UNITE's reflection values but increased the reflection samples (quality) even further
- Modified HBAO contrast to match the E3 footage
- Increased motion blur length to match the E3 footage (this value was left over in the garage so it should be the exact value they used at E3)
- Restored motion blur in the garage like in E3 footage
- Slightly increased all HDR values so bright lighting will be less blown out. This makes the lighting changes on the car look slightly more distinct, like they did in the E3 footage
- Enable high quality sun shadow setting

In the user.cfg (that you must manually place, instructions in the README inside the download's zip file)
- Enable full resolution reflections for much more detailed reflections
- Set multiple graphical effects to their highest possible quality
- (Optional) Greatly increase shadow resolution from all lights, so all shadows are much more detailed and shadows the car casts onto itself are fully visible

Right click an image and "Open image in new tab" to see them at higher resolution

I've included the .fbproject file as well for any modders who want to take a look at it.

For frostbite engine games specifically it takes a good bit of trial and error to figure out what does what. Its not very intuitive.
I tried looking at Heat to see if I could make it look more like 2015 but the amount of work it would require seems to be ridiculous. The UNITE mod is probably about as good as thats gonna get.

Is it difficult to learn to make mods? I'm tired of downgrades, like nfs rivals, heat or even payback

I can upload a few, but most of the changes are only really visible in motion

was thinking the same, elaymm4, well known NFS modder and great friend of mine, I was hoping for some comparison shots at least

Can you provide some preview screenshots?
