Letterbox & Pillarbox Bars Removed
Description:
Got tired of seeing black bars all over your ultra-wide set? Well, here is a solution!This mod removes black bars seen on loading screen, leaving/entering garage sequences, world map, and more likely, cutscenes.
Known Issues:
- I couldn't remove pillarbox bars for the main menu: they just refuse to go away and in some cases make things worse.- Some flash and light leak effects are still in 16:9 format, as I couldn't find any proper way to upscale them to fit the entire 21:9 screen space
Also be aware that I haven't tested this with in-game cutscenes, and it's very likely I won't scale all of them in the future, as some of them feature car render that may be offset, so I dunno.
