The Race Mix

Welcome to The Race Mix, a breath of new fresh air into NFS Undercover’s Soundtrack.

NFS Undercover Soundtrack modding capabilities fully unleashed!
This is a music pack i’ve been working on for a while, and the final update is here.
This pack contains the Original Soundtrack + UCE Soundtrack + my selection of songs.
It now features a binary installation script so you won't need to move the files manually.

Features:
- songs that keep a constant 210 – 290 kbps at 48000hz. (basically insane quality flac audio)
- properly edited and encoded songs.
- better music fragments at the end of the races.
- songs are now louder, i kept everything at 0 db. (which means there's a catch for optimal sound mixing, will explain below)
- fixed (better) vanilla songs

Only 5 songs from the original soundtrack got removed, those being:

Peter Newton - Spook Zoid
Peter Newton - Rattler
Ojos De Brujo - Piedras vs. Tanques
(these songs just don't fit the game's racing and overall vibe in my humble opinion)

Installation tutorial:

Step 1: You will need Binary 2.8.3 to be able to do this step, run your Binary executable as administrator
and select "User" mode, find and import the "install part1.end" script, save when prompted to,
but do not run the game yet.

Step 2: You will need VltEd or OGVI to be able to do this step, run your Vault editor executable as administrator,
open your game folder and go to import modscript, find the "install part2.nfsms" script and import it, save all
changes and close the program.

Step 3: Enjoy!

Observation: It is HEAVILY recommended for you to tweak the Music volume and Engine FX volume, it is recommended to keep Music at 80 - 90% and Engine FX at +6db.
