Need for Speed Carbon: Ultimate Mod

This is a newer version of Ultimate Mod, not to be confused with the older version I uploaded years ago.

Please do not reupload or directly use any part of this mod in your own mod or modpack.

DESCRIPTION:

Hello! This is a mod of Need for Speed Carbon that almost reworks the whole game while still staying true to the vanilla experience.

For instructions on how to install and uninstall the mod, please refer to the README.txt text document in the 7z archive.

This mod heavily alters many parts of the game, but tries to keep the same premise & atmosphere of the game, so it's both a rework and an expansion.
All if not most changes made to the game by this mod are described below:

- The Career mode received a rework.

• It's now more linear and also more difficult.
  
• Some races have been redesigned, to make them longer, or to make them better, or both.
  
• Bosses will pose a bigger threat during their races. They even won't back down with just one city race.
  

- A new car list that blends the original cars with DLC-exclusive cars as well as brand-new ones.

- The cops have been reworked.

• They're now much more of a nuissance, as they will appear more frequently, placing a greater emphasis on using multiple cars throughout the Career mode.
  
• The Heat meter will rise even if you're racing during a pursuit.
  
• Their numbers have been amped up to attempt to overwhelm you.
  
• They can use every tactic at their disposal, including supportive tactics like road blocks and oncoming Rhinos during races. (Spike strips cannot be used during races)
  

- A new Challenge Series that will pose a greater challenge.

• Additionally, every Challenge Series exclusive track layout can now be unlocked in Quick Race.

- A brand new upgrade system, based on prior Need for Speed games.

• Tier 1 and Tier 2 cars are now able to compete against Tier 3 cars when upgraded to the highest level.
  
• Altered upgrade parts pricing & availability.
  
• Every car's performance have been rebalanced so that no car should be truly terrible.
  

- All Online Exclusive as well as previously unobtainable content is now available offline.

• Every player-available car (Trucks and cop cars as an exception) is purchasable, upgradeable and customizable in the Career mode and in My Cars.
  
• A new Reward Card page replacing the Online Exclusive Reward Cards with new offline ones.
  

- And more, miscellaneous changes.

• Almost every Special vinyl has been made available without toggling the option are almost all of those are made colorable.
  
• The STOCK vinyl group has been replaced with a UNIQUE vinyl group that has every single vinyl specific to a certain car.
  
• The ONLINE vinyl group has been replaced with a CREWS vinyl group that has every single generic crew vinyl as well as the full-body crew vinyls.
  
• Non-crew related vinyls in the former ONLINE vinyl group have been moved to the BONUS vinyl group.
  
• Bonus and Custom cars have been reworked.
  
• Car Paint is now less pale and more saturated to look a little more realistic.
  
• Black Rim Paint is now actually black.
  
• Light Window Tint is now actually light.
  
• View cameras have been tweaked to improve the game's sense of speed.
  

CHANGELOG:

PATCH 6:

• Fixed an oversight regarding the Dodge Viper unlock.
  
• Decreased the volume of Tire Skids. Credits to Reameb.
  
• Slightly changed the upgraded engine sound for the Lancer Evolutions and Porsche 911s
  
• Fixed an error in the uninstallation script.
  

PATCH 5:

• Increased the time bonuses on Blackwell Road.
  

PATCH 4:

• Fixed the Troy Checkpoint race not giving enough time to cross the finish line.
  

PATCH 3:

• Fixed The Grand Tour Race Wars not unlocking right after beating Darius.
  

PATCH 2:

• Swapped Career Mogul and Most Wanted reward cards to ensure that the Murciélago LP640 cannot be unlocked too early.
  
• Increased the Street King reward card's requirement from 65 to 70 Career race wins.
  
• Slightly lowered the chance of Roadblocks and Rhinos during races
  

PATCH 1:

• Fixed an issue where the installer gets interrupted from the lack of english or spanish language files.
