NFS ProStreet: Improvised Mod (PlayStation 2)
Not to be confused with Improvement Mod for Need for Speed: Carbon.
The Improvised Mod includes many fixes to ProStreet such as car audio, which restores unused audio and assigns them for several vehicles, reassigns some audio for existing sounds for a more-fitting experience. Improvised Mod also fixes inaccuracies, such as Ryan Cooper's 240SX having mismatched wheels (HRE fronts, Stock rears).
Improvement Mod brings in Customization Enhancements, which unlocks two spoilers for every game mode, and not just restricting them to Drag Racing or Speed Challenges.
It also removes the speed limiters, fixes the input delay, and enhances the camera, for a much better viewing experience.
A one-of-a-kind enhancement mod for consoles, this is the first mod for PlayStation 2's ProStreet, or any Need for Speed game on the PS2, that takes the PC's modding tools to the extreme, and causes mass confusion.
Features:
- Tank Slapper Timer has been removed, decreasing input lag
- Speed Limiter has been increased to 900MPH (in this case, removed)
- Ryan Cooper's 240SX has matching wheels for both front and rear (to match the cutscenes)
- Kings have slightly-ish increased more difficulty
- Different Camera Angles *ala* Pepega Mod
- New Spoiler Options for all modes (Evo Spoiler and Drag Spoiler, mainly the drag spoiler so you can make those drift missiles)
- King now has no assists
Bugs:
- Going over 250MPH/403KPH may cause your steering to kermit
- Still 4 racers (for PS2), working to see if we can increase the limit
- Close cam needs distance increased

Wow, this is nuts. Crazy work, more so on PS2I wonder if you can put on crowds (maybe as moving 2d sprites) and improve the vinyl editor to be faster
Regardless, interesting and killer work.
