1.0 Realistic Tuning Potential/Rebalanced Performance
Applying to a vanilla game will result in missing parts and other bugs!
This is the first release and I plan on dropping more patches in the future as I dial aspects of every car in, so stay tuned if you are interested!
The 1.0 release focuses on giving cars power gains while making them feel stable and able to handle any changes made. Some cars maintained values due to any hp being higher wouldn't have been realistic at the time.
This mod is realism influenced but vanilla friendly, meaning all changes have realistic numbers in mind while keeping the cars as close to Underground 2 feeling as possible.
Your feedback is appreciated so feel free to comment if there are certain cars you think should be buffed or nerfed and what about the car you think is wrong, I will take it into consideration for the future.
Future Patch plans :
1.1 - In the next 1.1 patch I will be focusing on perfecting every car a bit more as far as handling and tire grip without making them unrealistically fast off launch or more grippy than they should be for NFSU2.
This includes suspension, Weight, Tires and brakes.
1.2 - Some cars will be between 1-3hp off from exact stock horsepower rating in real life so I will be correcting that in 1.2 as it isn't going to make a noticeable difference in races.
I will also be perfecting power/torque line to replicate real life motors which may require rebalancing of cars again after it is done but we will see when I get there.
Here is a list of the changes made in 1.0 :
- Cars have a more accurate and realistic stock horsepower.
- Increased/decreased horsepower for tier 1, 2, 3 tuning for every car.
- Maintained Vanilla feeling with the exception of Buffing/Nerfing some cars, But every car feels as it was meant to be in game.
- Lower horsepower cars kept a lower horsepower tuning potential for a little realism.
- Low horsepower and lightweight cars may outshine high horsepower and heavier cars on courses with many tight turns depending on the car.
