Grip Enhancer

Grip Enhancer — Advanced Handling Mod for NFS Unbound

This mod refines the overall driving experience without altering the original physics or configuration of each vehicle. Its purpose is to improve stability during drifting situations, preventing cars from spinning out excessively when attempting to initiate a drift.

In addition, the mod enhances vehicle grip, providing more consistent traction across different conditions. This results in better control without sacrificing the balance of the driving model.

At the same time, the mod preserves the ability to perform precise micro-drifts, allowing players to trigger nitro bursts without compromising vehicle handling. The modification has been simplified to ensure it does not impact vehicle performance or alter base behavior, while still providing a more comfortable and consistent driving experience.

NEW TIRES
This mod modifies the grip tires to improve their performance compared to the original grip tires in the game. In addition to providing higher traction allowing cars that would not normally achieve such levels of grip to reach higher stability.

How to install & use:
1. Download Frosty Mod Manager (Download latest version from github).
2. Download the mod.
3. Extract the zip files.
4. Open Frosty mod manager > Select NFSUbound > Click on import Mod(s) & import the Grip Enhancer.zip file.

Hi @BlackRockStella Yes, it actually makes cars prone to losing control much more manageable. I’ve tested the 240Z specifically: you need to set the Grip slider to 60%, use Grip tires, keep Traction Control ON, and make sure B2D is OFF.

Does this actually make cars that isn't viable for Grip Builds useable? Like the 240Z, for example?

Hi @heyspeedieee, I do not recommend doing that. Loading my mod after Kaizen's simply overwrites their data; it does not combine them. This can lead to conflicts and unstable physics, so it is safer to use only one handling mod at a time.

I've combined this with the Kaizen Handling mod from AntiLoser. by having this mod load after Kaizen Handling, making it look like this mod modified the Kaizen Handlng mod. What do you think?

Hi @TomNathan It should have been fixed in the new version
