Need for Speed: Carbon DLC Unlocker




This is a plugin that hooks Need for Speed: Carbon DLC system, allowing you to unlock DLC content without modifying the game's assets or manually editing the save file. By default, it unlocks all six DLC exclusive cars (Porsche 911 Turbo, Dodge Challenger R/T, Toyota Corolla GT-S, Infiniti G35, Shelby GT500 '06, Pagani Zonda F) as well as unhides and unlocks Xbox 360 exclusive Virus vinyls. The plugin should work with any version of nfsc.exe.

Usage:
1. Extract all files from the release into the game directory.
2. (OPTIONAL) Edit scripts\dlc.txt and add the internal names of any unlocks you wish to obtain. You can find known DLC unlock lists in dlc_examples directory.
3. Play the game. DLC content should become available immediately, you do not need to create a new save file.

New in 1.2.0:
- Added missing DLC unlock lists to dlc_examples directory.
- Small fix for hooked function detection.

Update: I reinstalled the game and the issue somehow disappeared (at least for now). I'm running almost the same mods as before, only thing that I believe might have affected it is that I installed the updated widescreen fix now and thus the updated ASI loader (was using old one before).

I have a small but annoying bug with this mod. If on initial game launch I try to start a quick race (haven't tested career) with a DLC car the game will freeze on the loading screen. The only way around this is to first start a race with a base game car, exit to menu and only then start a race with a DLC car.
Tested CCX (Custom) and G35 (Stock), so it's not category related.

@Zethras DLC cars are not unlocked through story progression, they are supposed to be unlocked right off the bat. If you do not see the Zonda anywhere, you did not install the plugin correctly. Keep in mind that the Zonda is not available in Career mode, it can only be used in Quick Race (under custom cars).
