Beta Civic Cruisers for Most Wanted and Carbon




Are you one of those people who could only wish for the civic cruisers to be just like on the cutscenes? Well, say no more! You can completly replace the police cars or mix them up with the standard cruisers!

I'm only uploading this here for lore-friendly, QoL and preservation purposes, since the mod's not mine after all. Plus, I had to do some tricky searching to find this, and I guess many people ended up frustated due to not finding it. This zip file only contains the replacement method, does not contain modscripts or addon files. So unless the site's moderation says otherwise, you are completely free to turn this into an addon and/or modscript, under my permission. Just make sure to credit C0munityMindedMiner as the original author.

Meanwhile, you can ask a modder about this, since it's a common problem that may happen sometimes. Preferably one that isn't an asshole.

Tell them they have complete permission from the get-go to fix anything if needed, just credit me for the reupload and the original author too.

That's common. Happened with other cars in Most Wanted for me. I tried to replace the cop GTO once with a Charger and ended up with invisible cop cars as well. The game might be having struggles to recognize it and put the pieces together, meaning the format or recognization process itself is not working properly. For the installion of most cars in Black Box NFS games nowadays - including police cars - Binary is needed. I'm no proper modder, but I'll try to deepen my skills in once I got time.

Hmm, I think that specific cruiser is NIS exclusive. Some cop car model replacement and addon mods mention something about adding/replacing specific NIS cop cars. I want to be a proper modder, but I still have so little time in my routine. Though I promise to look into it this December, since it's my vacation.
