Bayview Elite - Enhanced Difficulty
‘Bayview Elite - Enhanced Difficulty’ is a modscript that significantly increases the difficulty of races, ideal for those who have completed the game so many times that they no longer feel the pressure of making mistakes and losing.
The races aren’t just set to 9-9-9; there’s a more nuanced design. Some races are harder than others, and the Easy, Medium, and Hard difficulties have real differences.
The criteria I used are as follows:
- Bad opponent: only beats you if you make a major mistake.
- Average opponent: beats you if you make several minor mistakes.
- Good opponent: beats you if you lose focus; they're on your level.
Difficulty distribution:
- Easy
Standard races: 1 average opponent and 2 bad ones.
Sponsor races: 2 average opponents and 1 bad.
URL: 3 average opponents and 2 bad.
- Medium
Standard races: 1 good opponent and 2 average.
Sponsor races: 2 good opponents and 1 average.
URL: 3 good opponents and 2 average.
- Hard
All races (standard, sponsor, and URL): all opponents are good.
How To Install:
- 1) Download and install the latest version of Binary by MaxHwoy.
- 2) Open Binary and set it to "user mode."
- 3) Inside the folder, find the .end file named "BayviewEliteEnhancedDifficulty.end."
- 4) Find and select the folder containing Need for Speed Underground 2.
- 5) The installation window will appear. Select whether you want to install or uninstall the mod.
- 6) Several windows will appear; just click "Accept," then "Yes," and then "No."
- 7) Done.
Do whatever you want with the mod. I didn’t create the game or its code. All I did was tweak some values in Binary to suit my own taste, and I’m just sharing it with you.

I just realized there is a bug where in the first hidden race with Rachel's car, the opponent is always a Corolla with a weak performance

@MidoriRacingNeko I have no idea whether the mod works or not in custom mode, it never occurs to me to play there.
