Fix Suspension

Fix Suspension
In Need for Speed Unbound there is a recurring issue in the suspension system that causes vehicles to bounce excessively after jumps or when driving over uneven surfaces, something that did not occur in NFS Heat. This behavior results in a loss of stability and negatively impacts the driving experience.
The mod corrects this issue by adjusting the suspension behavior to deliver a more consistent and stable response. With this modification, cars maintain better contact with the ground, absorb irregularities more progressively, and avoid continuous bouncing cycles.
Installation
How to install Fix Suspesion mod:
1. Open Frosty Mod Manager.
2. Click on "Scan for games" and select NFS Unbound or manually locate the NeedForSpeedUnbound.exe file.
3. Click on "Add Mod(s)" and select the Fix Suspesion file.
4. Click on "Apply Mod(s)" to apply it to your game.
BUGS
There are no known issues at this time. The suspension system has been tested with all vehicles prone to experiencing problems; however, the number of cars is too large to review each one individually.
If you encounter an issue with a specific vehicle, please provide the car model, model year, and, if possible, the circumstances in which the problem occurred.

Hi @Nevadean What issue are you having at lower speeds?
Nevadean (September 12, 2025 @ 02:12)
wow...this mod actually helped me out at least on the high speeds at least but idk can you do the same thing for slower speeds tho...

Hi @michuul The suspension bug is very situational and wasn’t removed because it’s actually part of the new suspension system introduced in this game, which works differently from previous NFS titles. What the mod does is increase the speed at which the damping stabilizes, preventing the excessive bouncing effect. It does not change handling in any way, so it doesn’t provide an unfair advantage in races.

Does this somewhat count as a disguised way to increase the chances of winning in the race? like if it reduces the segments that would normally bounce, then in the competition it indirectly equals gaining an advantage. Does this lead to an unfair situation in the race?
