Description
This modification aims to rework the performance of many in-game present cars from complete scratch, enabling them to have much better handling and acceleration, making them faster overall.
Some of the following cars reworked by this mod:
- Mitsubishi Eclipse GT
- Lexus IS300
- Audi A4 Quattro
- Audi TT
- Mercedes-Benz CLK500
- Mercedes-Benz SL500
- Pontiac GTO
- Mazda RX-8
...and more!
Installation
- Extract the .rar archive anywhere you like.
- Download the program NFS-VltEd 4.6 and execute it.
- Select the tab 'File' and click 'Open', to be directed to select your root directory of Need for Speed: Most Wanted.
- Once done, click on 'File' again and choose 'Import>Modscript'.
- Choose 'install_all.nfsms' if you wish to install the modifications for all cars at once, or if not, you may pick a specific one to install from the 'car_files' folder.
- Once promoted, click 'Install'.
- Click on 'File' and 'Save' to secure the changes made to your game.
Additionally, a README file has been provided in the archive containing the same instructions above and a brief explanation of the changes made to each car.

- New car added; Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII.
- Fixed issues with the Porsche 911 Carrera S; top speed has been capped to 388km/h.
- Fixed an issue with the Audi A3 where the 6th gear possessed no rev in low-upgrade scenarios.
- Mitsubishi Eclipse GT has been rebuilt to accommodate for a higher top speed.
- An 'install_all.nfsms' file has been introduced for convenience to install all present scripts at once.

Endgame these are some of the best improvements to existing cars. Although I don't like the Ford Mustang improvement, since it's close to a drag-only car.Troubleshooting the Audi A3 in a new career I found out that it's 6th gear starts 50kmph lower than the 5th gear if you put the Race Engine and Transmission plus the Pro Suspension and Nitrous, while having the Junkman Brakes equipped. 5th gear tops out at 270kmph and 6th gear instantly brings it down to 225kmph.
