Relentless Cops (Heat)

Description

Heat was if not the last good modern nfs. However, as time went on, the cops were nerfed so it was not good as it kinda used to be. So this mod were made to make it like that but a bit more harder

NOTE: This Mod was now only work on later version of the game, old version is no longer supported

- Improved AI Cop Chaser and Cop Racing Trait
- Cargo Cop cars now change to a night version for more consistency
- Removal of punch notifications when rhino is spawned to avoid annoyance
- Increase Cooldown Time about 15 Seconds
- Killswitch vehicle is now switched from charger to Corvette
- Improved Pursuit system by having rhino and roadblock spawn on daytime and Improved aggressiveness on night time
- Buffed police vehicles especially corvette to be able to keep up with you on 400+ car(No chance if you had good skill and/or using overpowered car)
- Removed roadblock and some other POI like dead cop, rhino on the map, etc
- The Cops are now being more aggressive with tactics more occupied due to changes in ManeuverTimeOut value on AIManeuverPrefab
- The Mod is being remade for new version of the game and all the changes i made since previous version of the mod were now in here
- *Version 2* Made changes to CopsPrefab that limits the escalation levels to 9(under objects #43)
- *Version 2* Added version of my mod that is compatible with UNITE mod
- *Version 3* Fixes heat level not escalating in unite version of my mod due to modification on escalation levels table that i made
- *Version 3* Some code were removed in unite version of my mod due to many changes in theirs

There is 2 version inside:

- File Replace
- Frosty Mod Manager

Installation

Steps for File Replace Version:

1. Download Frosty Tools 1.0.6.3 or later
2. Extract that archive to somewhere
3. Go to the folder that you just extracted and then thirdparty folder
4. Copy cryptbase.dll file in that folder to root of game directory
5. Then Copy the PATCH folder inside the extracted mod directory you downloaded earlier to the Game directory and that was it

The positive of using the file replace version is you can launch it directly on the executable, no software was needed next time you want to play again.

Important NOTE: Backup the folder before applying the mod just in case you want to roll back to original one

Steps for Frosty Mod Manager Version:

1. Download Frosty mod manager 1.0.6.3 or later
2. Extract the downloaded archive to somewhere
3. Double Click the main executable
4. Click New and then point to the NFS Heat Executable on the game directory and select it
5. Double click the profile that frosty detected it
6. Enter the Decryption key by looking up FrostyENC.txt and then copy the password to the field and then click ok
7. After the loading process is done, now you can click Add mod and select "NFSH_Relentless_Cops.zip"
8. Just Double Click the mod to add it to the applied mods list and you can just launch the game once you done adding more of the other mods if any

Important NOTE: If the message prompt appear telling the SDK was outdated, that means either the game you had is older or newer that the frosty tool can support or if the tool is still on older version. If your Frosty tool is outdated and/or if the game is newer, you have to update the SDK by following what the message tell you. If the game crashed on startup or when getting ingame, it means the mod is unsupported for the version of the game you had

NOTE: Next time you want to play with that mod you had to use that program again, launching directly through executable will NOT do because the software doesn't applied on the game directory at all, instead it was on the separate ModData Directory. If you want to launch it without using that tool again, click tools then manage mod data and then click the floppy icon to create shortcut of that mod list(packs) that you had. Required to launch the game once to apply the mods you had whenever you add or remove it on existing pack or doing it for first time either on existing or on another pack.

NOTE 2: If you're gonna install it on non-english version of the game, click the plus button on the mod and just double click "Main Mod" to add it to the applied mods list and click launch mod after you done adding more of the other mods if any
