A DnB soundtrack mod for NFS Most Wanted

I got an itch to make this mod for a while now, so I decided to finally make it a reality.

This mod is pretty simple, it replaces the licensed tracks of Need For Speed Most Wanted to be exclusively tracks of the drum and bass genre, with tracks raging from 2001 all the way to 2005 and a few that came out officially in 2006. The tracks composed by Paul Linford and the 3 already existing DnB tracks are left untouched.

You can use this mod on an already existing save file, just know that you’ll have to manually setup where does each track play, since that’s something the mod modifies to better fit the new tracks.

Installing the mod
First and foremost, make a backup of the 'PFDATA' folder located inside of the SOUNDS folder, in the hypothetical case you want to uninstall the mod.

1. Copy the contents of the 'Here's the goodies' folder, into the PFDATA folder inside of the SOUNDS folder of Need For Speed Most Wanted.
2. Use NFS VLTed (or OGVI) to install the "vlt install" modscript.

Uninstalling the mod.
To properly uninstall the mod, you'll need to have backed up the original .mus and .mpf files that are inside the PFDATA folder.

1. Replace the modded files with the original ones.
2. Use NFS VLTed (or OGVI) to install and revert the changes with the "vlt uninstall" modscript.
