Sick and tired of the random/irrelevant product placement in the game? That makes both of us!
Old Spice, Johnson, Campbell Soup!? What the heck do any of these have to do with an illegal street racing game heavily focused on the JDM tuning scene?
This mod replaces every single one of those textures, as well as a few tasteless others, with JDM aftermarket companies' logos, or other Japan-based companies.
I also tried to make sure the chosen logos and the overall aesthetic is period correct.
• Examples?
a. The Body Shop sign logo is now that of Veilside.
b. The Paint Shop sign logo is now that of Art Factory Graphics.
c. You'll find ads for JVC, Defi, HKS, Kansai Service, Panasonic, Fujitsubo, and more sprinkled throughout Bayview.
d. You'll also be able to find ads for "upcoming (aka in 2005)" events coming to Bayview.
• Why is there no Binary endscript installer?
I'd love to! But I have no idea how to actually create a Binary installer. :(
• Installation:
You'll need NFS-TexEd by nfsu360. Get it here:

If you're having issues with the latest version (1.7), try v1.1 from their MEGA archive.
1. Open the application.
2. Go to [File] -> [Open].
3. Navigate to your NFSU2 folder, and then to its TRACKS folder.
4. You see the folders in this pack, how they're named specifically after
the STREAML4R[x].BUN files? You're going to open each of these files, and
then replace the textures with the ones in the respective folder.
5. To do that, once you've opened a STREAML4R[x].BUN file, go to [Texture],
then select [Find].
6. Look up the names of each texture, without the ID in the very beginning.
Important:
- If asked to save after every texture replacement, click [Yes].
- The names of the replacement textures are based on this format:
[ID]_[Texture Name].dds
