Highway Duel Race Pack
Highway Duel Races Mod Pack
This mod adds new tracks/races to the game's quick race list, which are actually canyon duels, but on the highways.
There are 6 routes:
- Downtown to Silverton [8.3.5]
- Downtown to Kempton [8.3.6]
- Silverton to Downtown [8.3.7]
- Kempton to Downtown [8.3.8]
- Kempton to Silverton [8.3.9]
- Silverton to Kempton [8.3.10]
Features:
- Working race barriers. covers up 90% of the tracks, the 'missing' ones simply don't exist in the vanilla game files.
- Proper FE-related stuff (track maps and track names).
- (Optional, with separate mod script) Changes to the scoring system so it kind of feels like "outrun" mode.
Things Needed for Installation and Usage:
- OGVI
- Binary
- Unlimiter (recommended, I feel like it's necessary, haven't tested without it)
- ExOpts (recommended, to have traffic and cops in the race options menu and for UnlockAllThings)
NOTE BEFORE INSTALLING:
This mod pack hasn't been tested on any large Carbon mods (e.g. Ultimate Mod, Improvement Mod, Carbon Battle Royale, Redux, etc.). You can still try installing this mod on them though, but I suggest creating backup files. If it works, please leave a comment - so the others know that it works on those mods/versions :)
How to Install & Use:
1. Install the OGVI.nfsms script using OGVI (Open OGVI -> Open your NFSC's game folder -> import the OGVI.nfsms script -> Install -> save game files)
2. Install the Install.end script using Binary (open Binary -> User Mode -> Select the Install.end script -> Select your NFSC's game folder -> Install -> save game files)
3. To make the races appear on the quick race map of your existing alias(es), you can use ExOpts' UnlockAllThings option (F5 key). If you don't want to enable it, you need to create a new alias - they'll be on the quick race map in any new alias you create.
4. If you want the new scoring system, install the OGVI-ScoringSystemTweak.nfsms script. This is optional.
