License Plate Bayview

This mod replaces the license plate with a larger version, from 128 pixels to 2048 pixels. The reference was taken from a California license plate.
NOV means the registration expires in November, indicated by a small NOV sticker.
2004 confirms the registration year.
And Bayview is a city.
And since this game had a main release: November 2004 (USA November 15, Europe November 19). A reference is made to NFS Underground 2 with the main year.

Screenshots
Open "install.end" with Binary.
Select Default or Ultimiter.
Install and save file.
Used Made Binary 2.9.0 and Photoshop plugins DDS.

I find that the license plate is too illuminated in dark areas, it glows.

It works on the underground2.net mod, but you have to do it differently. You need to open the game file GLOBAL/GLOBALB.LZC with TexEd, then replace LICENSE_PLATE with the DDS from this texture mod.

To the question: Will this mod fit underground2.net?
Answer: When installing underground2.net, there is a folder (1 - Mod Files) with the changes available from them.
But at the same time, the GlobalB.lzc file has an original unchanged license plate texture.
