!!! I get no money from this, this mod is made purely for the love of the game, don't sue me EA and/or record labels and/or artists !!!

The original soundtrack was getting a little stale for me, so I added a couple songs to shake it up a little. This mod also includes extended, cut, and explicit versions of already present tracks, along with corrected information (typos and such).

Any and all feedback (additions, removals, missed errors, etc.) is welcome in order to improve and expand on this mod, just keep it friendly :>

Installation instructions
  • Install NFS_CustomJukebox.
  • Make backups of CustomPlaylists\StockPlaylist.ini and SOUND\PFDATA\ps_music.mpf & ps_music.mus.
  • Extract to the game's root directory.
  • Not necessary but highly recommended: in scripts\NFSPS_CustomJukebox.ini, change RandomizedPlayback and InitializeRandomly to 1.
  • Enjoy :)

1.4: This update is mainly to merge this mod and Dia.magical.girl & Maniaco's Alternative Soundtrack Project into one big mega-playlist. I've made sure to ask for permission beforehand, so this should be completely drama-free, but credit is still given at every possible opportunity because I don't want to step on anyone's toes :-)

1.3
  • Updated tracks to lossless formats. There are exceptions, of course, with how obscure some are, but those have been updated to 320kbps .mp3s, which is still an upgrade from the original 128kbps tracks :)
  • Normalization changed (again) to -2 LUFS-I with -1dB Brickwall peak limit. An EQ adjustment of -9dB Low Shelf has also been applied at 98Hz to mitigate heavy bass distortion (was particularly noticeable with Пого)
  • Edit redone for Gimmie More | Trimmed to 3:45 from 4:58
  • Edit redone for Fancy Footwork | Trimmed to 2:16 from 5:25
  • Edit and information redone for Not Dead Yet | Trimmed to 2:26 from 3:50, album changed to Outlaw from Not Dead Yet

  • Further trimmed No Good | I found that the intro was a bit long-winded, so the length has been further reduced to 3:42 from 3:46
  • Updated More Is Enough | I used a not great mixed version instead of the original on accident
  • Fixed a few duplicate hexadecimal location indicators in StockPlaylist.ini (I somehow got turned around when editing the file, 3am no caffeine moment)
  • Renamed 13B to Hands Up | Made a whole lot more sense to me honestly (link)
  • Normalization changed to +1dB True peak with a -1dB True peak Brickwall limit, I found that it caused less distortion than LUFS-I
  • Imaginary Places, Hands Up, Slip Angle, and What It Look Like have been normalized to +3dB on account of their low volume in comparison to the other tracks
  • Restructured the .7z file to be a little easier to drag 'n drop into the game's root directory

@LucaCiz2502 i only have krieger and kimura's themes in here, i couldn't find ones for denver or monroe that were satisfactory quality, and uno hasn't done mixes for them unfortunately :/
