Koenigsegg Fix Pack

This mod aims to fix the numerous balancing and accuracy issues with the Koenigseggs in NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered.

Below is a detailed list of the various adjustments and fixes made to improve the cars for online use, general balance, and Vanilla+ gameplay.

Like the previous Lamborghini Pack, this mod is focused on Vanilla+ changes that preserve the Criterion-style feel of the original game.

Koenigsegg CCXR:

* Replaced the carbon fiber texture used for the car body, making it more accurate to its real-life counterpart. The Cop CCXR uses a darker version.
* Gear change time was lowered slightly.
* The car no longer short-shifts into 6th gear.
* Car stance was lowered slightly.
* Audio settings were tweaked and fixed. The car now sounds, rumbles, and shifts more like a manual Koenigsegg should, with no sound file replacement needed.
* Nitrous power was slightly buffed. Previously, the vanilla car had borderline useless nitrous.
* Engine power was increased to more accurate stats. Other power values were left unchanged, so the car now properly reflects the CCXR instead of feeling like a weaker CCX.
* Aero was tweaked. The car now holds the correct top speed of around 254 mph and can keep up with a Veyron on a straight with skilled driving and nitrous/slipstream use.
* Police CCXR power buff was improved slightly.

Tires, drift behavior, and related handling values were left unchanged.

All changes listed apply to both CCXR variants.

Koenigsegg CCX:

* The car now has the correct 6-speed gearbox, ported directly from the tweaked CCXR.
* Audio settings were tweaked and fixed. The car now sounds, rumbles, and shifts more like a manual Koenigsegg should, with no sound file replacement needed.
* Engine power was reduced slightly. Other power values were left unchanged, so the car now makes more accurate horsepower and is no longer faster at accelerating than the CCXR.
* Aero was tweaked. The car now holds the correct top speed of around 245 mph.
* Police CCX power buff was improved slightly.
* Black paint is now actually black.

Tires, drift behavior, and related handling values were left unchanged.

All changes listed apply to both CCX variants.

Koenigsegg Agera:

* The car now has the correct 7-speed gearbox, using real-life gear ratios. Criterion also used real-life gear ratios for the CCXR, so this is a fitting update.
* Gear change time was lowered to better match the real car. It will not shift as quickly as the Agera R mod, since these changes are based on the standard 2010 Agera.
* Most engine power values were adjusted to more accurate real-life stats. The standard Agera does not have 1000 hp, so if you are looking for a 270+ mph Koenigsegg, I recommend using the Agera R mod instead.
* Aero was tweaked. The car now holds the correct rated top speed of around 261 mph instead of 249 mph (Koenigsegg claimed 249, but it's rated for 261).
* Nitrous drag was raised so it does not exceed Veyron Super Sport speeds. If that is an issue for you, use the Agera R mod.
* Fixed the poor carbon fiber material shading on the body. It now looks more accurate to the real car.
* Audio settings were tweaked and fixed. The car now sounds, rumbles, and shifts more like the first DCT Koenigsegg should, with no sound file replacement needed.
* Added the two missing factory paintjobs ported from the CCX: Black Hematite and Sparkling Topaz(White). The real-life car did not come with the other CCX colors, such as Lapiz Lazuli, so those were not ported.
* Black paint is now actually black.
* Drift recovery was improved significantly. However, it still uses the same general Agera drift and handling behavior, so you may still find the CCXR or CCX easier to drive. If you can adapt to it, I believe the Agera can still be a very useful car.

Installation:

REMEMBER TO BACK UP YOUR VEHICLE FILES BEFORE INSTALLING.

To install the vehicle settings, copy the MS.BIN files from the mod folder into your Hot Pursuit Remastered VEHICLES folder and replace the old files.

From there, you should be all set.
