Bugatti Fix Pack
Below is a detailed list of the various adjustments and fixes made to improve the cars for online use, general balance, and Vanilla+ gameplay.
Like the previous Koenigsegg Pack, this mod is focused on Vanilla+ changes that preserve the Criterion-style feel of the original game.
Bugatti Veyron Supersport:
* Fixed the awful shading of the Carbon Fiber texture
* Gear change time was fixed to the correct specs
* The car no longer short-shifts into 7th gear.
* Audio settings were tweaked and fixed.
* Car received an updated sound file, which fixes the broken spool sound, and takes the startup sound, shift sounds, and turbo noises from the Most Wanted 2012 Vitesse
* Nitrous power was slightly buffed. Previously, the vanilla car had borderline useless nitrous.
* Engine power was readjusted for balancing purposes (original values made it too overpowered with the gearbox changes)
* Aero was tweaked.
* Police Veyron SS power buff was improved slightly to accommodate for the engine rebalance.
* Drift recovery was fixed to match the 16:4
Tires, drift behavior, and related handling values were left unchanged.
All changes listed apply to both Veyron SS variants.
Bugatti Veyron 16:4:
* Gear change time was fixed to the correct specs
* Audio settings were tweaked and fixed.
* Car received an updated sound file, which fixes the broken spool sound, and takes the startup sound, shift sounds, and turbo noises from the Most Wanted 2012 Vitesse
* Aero was tweaked. Car loses less speed on dirt.
* Nitrous power was buffed. Previously, the vanilla car had borderline useless nitrous.
* Police Veyron 16:4 power buff was improved.
* Black paint is now actually black.
* Ride height was fixed
* Painted Bumper was readded from Beta
Tires, drift behavior, and related handling values were left unchanged.
All changes listed apply to both Veyron 16:4 variants.
Bugatti Veyron GrandSport:
* Gear change time was fixed to the correct specs
* Audio settings were tweaked and fixed.
* Car received an updated sound file, which fixes the broken spool sound, and takes the startup sound, shift sounds, and turbo noises from the Most Wanted 2012 Vitesse
* Nitrous power was buffed (as per how convertibles usually are set up in Hot Pursuit)
* Aero was tweaked
* Drift recovery was buffed
Installation:
REMEMBER TO BACK UP YOUR VEHICLE FILES BEFORE INSTALLING.
To install the vehicle settings, copy the MS.BIN files from the mod folder into your Hot Pursuit Remastered VEHICLES folder and replace the old files.
From there, you should be all set.
