NFS 2015 Revival Mod v3(Experimental)

Disclaimer: This version of the mod is experimental and may be unstable. Report any bugs that are not known and aren't already listed below.

As with the previous iteration of the Revival Mod, this aims to make the driving experience in NFS 2015 feel better along with other miscellaneous aspects of the game, such as the removal of crash cams.

Changes from v2:

-Brand new handling that doesn't use drift component at all (unless you're starting a new game).

-Every single car has been fine tuned to work with the new handling.
-Drifting requires throttle control and countersteering; it will be much harder to get adjusted to and win events.

-WIP warehouse limit removal (broken at the moment, will try to fix it in an update)
-WIP gear tuning restoration (beta element that still exists in the game, just need to unlock it for it to work)
-Action cam does not trigger the drift cam when you start drifting.
-Drivetrain swaps have been added! The second set of tires are upgrades for your car's stock drivetrain, while the 3 sets after that are all for grip and drift variants of RWD, FWD, and AWD drivetrain swaps.
-Tires now change actual tire specs rather than either increasing or decreasing the max drift angle allowed.
-Differential tuning has been overhauled to change the actual diff specs of your car instead of changing the downforce offset.
-Negative camber will now slightly affect how your car handles (not by much, but enough to make a bit of a difference).
-Ferraris can now have their rim color changed (full rim customization will come in a future update).

Known bugs/issues:

-The aforementioned drifting difficulty will be a slight problem, but with the right tune, nearly any car can be turned into a great drift build.
-Lots of speed loss while turning, but made up for by increased cornering ability. Not really sure if this is a problem yet. Let me know.
-Hasn't been tested to see if this is compatible with a new game or if it breaks the beginning of the game (or at least the first few hours). This is another thing where I'll need a lot of feedback.

Installation instructions:

-Download the latest version of Frosty Mod Manager from here: https://frostytoolsuite.com/downloads.html
-Add NFS15 to the mod manager when prompted.
-Install the mods by dragging and dropping the archive onto the mod manager window.
-Apply the mods you want to use (to use the handling override mods, just have them below the main Revival Mod in the application order so that they take priority).

This mod is my personal reason for buying and playing NFS2015. This version is the best by far, cars can both do drift and grip and it feels great. Can give a little hint for drifting which works for me: I tune down differential from blocked to open a bit (on some cars it is nearly fully opened) and initiate the drift with a handbrake instead of regular brakes. Yeah, open diff sounds weird for drifting but with this mod, it gives the car some more stability and reduces the possibility of spin.

played the vanilla for like one or two missions, then installed the mod. can confirm the beginning of the game is absolutely doable (at least with the civic). worst case scenario you just tune your car for drifting and you can slide it around without a problem. right now i switched to r32, if i find anything wrong with the mod i will report it; so far it's been great

i dont know what im doing wrong, but everytime i launch the game with the revival mod. Brakes are constantly on and when i let off the gas the car streers right. also the game shows pc buttons even tho i have a controller connected. this goes away as soon as i reconnect the controller, but the car no longer turns like it should with the mod on. cant really explain almost like the mod deactivates as soon as i reconnect the controller.

Grip handling is good however the more I play the harder I realize it is to drift no matter how much I tune the car (3 actually)... Is there a special tune that we need to follow or maybe a special technique to actually properly initiate a drift? It is very rare that I am able to hold on angle while drifting and even then the angle is far too small to even register as a drift by the games standards. If I'm not trying to hold a small angle or even trying to start a drift, it seems that all I do is spin out.

So far I'm loving what you've done with the whole handling engine. Apart from grip still being slower than vanilla drift tunes, I AM LOVING THE GRIP. Nfs actually feels like a proper racing game now with how the cars handle. The drifting feels a lot more realistic with it being able to spin out more easily and having to tune the car better.
