NFSHP2010: Frame Rate Unlocker
This mod unlocks the game's hardcoded 60 FPS cap and lets you set a target FPS through an editable INI file.
Important:
This is made for the original 2010 PC version, not Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered.
Supported Version:
- Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2010 PC v1.0.5.0 / v1.0.50
Other EXE versions are not guaranteed to work.
Features:
- Unlocks the hardcoded 60 FPS cap
- Configurable target FPS through INI
- 120 FPS recommended by default
- 144 FPS may also work well depending on your system
- 240 FPS is playable, but traffic may behave faster or less consistently
- Works as an ASI plugin
Installation:
- Install an ASI loader.
- Copy NFSHP2010FPSUnlocker.asi and NFSHP2010FPSUnlocker.ini into the same folder as NFS11.exe.
- Edit the INI if you want to change the FPS target.
- Launch the game.
Recommended INI Settings:
TargetFPS = 120
FrameLimiter = 1
Notes:
Very high FPS values may affect traffic behavior. If traffic feels too fast or inconsistent, use 120 FPS.
