NFS-PresetEd
v1.0.2.446
by MaxHwoy

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description:

PresetEd is a tool which makes making preset cars easier for the Need for Speed games.
It creates codes of preset cars out of a simple configuration file, and then, if you want, injects them
directly into game's files.

Currently supported games are:
- Need for Speed: Carbon
- Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005)

The tool is pretty straightforward and it's made for last user. So, anyone who knows English can easily use it.

Folders:
Config -> folder where you put your configuration files from which you want to make preset cars
Presets -> folder where preset cars' codes will be saved once you click "Compile only" button
Info -> folder that contains all necessary information about lists, names and colors in configs
Exports -> folder where all preset cars will be exported once you click "Export Presets" button
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Usage:

! Before installation, make sure that you have installed .NET Framework 4.6 or higher.

Now you can use the app. Just follow these steps:

1) Copy the files anywhere on your PC.
2) Run "NFS-PresetEd.exe".
3) Press Ctrl+O or click File->Open to select your game installation directory.
Note: it's usually in C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts or C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES.
4) If the game is detected, you will see the sign "GlobalB.lzc was detected".
5) Copy Example_config.ini in the Config folder and rename it after the Preset car you want to make. Modify it
sanily, save changes and go back to the PresetEd.
5) Config files for the game will be listed after that on the screen. If you don't see any, press Ctrl+R to refresh.
6) Check all cars for correct values.
MAKE BACKUPS, please!
7) If you click "Inject into GlobalB", all presets will be automatically inserted into GlobalB.lzc. If you click
"Compile Only", only the preset codes will be generated and saved in the Presets folder.
8) If the "Success" dialog box appears, it means that PresetEd completed his job.
9) Now you can go to Presets folder (if you clicked "Compile Only"), or click Open->Browse Presets Folder and check
if the files are there.
10) Enjoy!

Trying to edit an existing preset, like changing Sal Muscle 3 from 67 Shelby to Corvette C6 Z06.

@Nikita
.ini file = Windows configuration settings file
Question to you: where is your logic when you say that config as .ini is not convenient, if .ini is itself a config file?

@01Kingmaker
1. Saturation and Brightness go from 0 to 10 b/c this is how it is in game
2. Preset section is edited in VltEd as well

I've tested it and it works pretty good. Just two things:

1. In paint section the values of saturation and brightness are from 0 to 100 (in read me file and example says they go from 0 to 10).

2. Is there an option that make the preset cars available to select in Preset Section? By now I can only use them in Challenge Series with help of VltEd.

Again, great work. This will bring us more hours of game and fun.

I think it isn't so convenient to make config in ini files
