Description
A collection of tiny fixes for NFSMW, mostly concerning car models and associated configurations (like wheel positions and assigned sounds)

Addtional credits to
MORELLO for pointing out several possible fixes for several models

Mod Features
  • Car model fixes:
    • General:
      • fixed window textures (now they will crack according to which side of the car is hit -e.g. only front window will crack if crashing head-on)


    • Car-specific:
      • PUNTO: fixed duplicate reverse lights, specific wheel size and ride height settings for bodykits 2-4 (Unlimiter v4 only)
      • GTI: fixed missing right headlight housing, missing doorline in bodykit 1 LODs, front badge position in bodykit 1, gaps between doors and front fenders in bodykit 3.
      • COBALTSS: Fixed missing door locks on several body kits, fixed the gap between side mirrors and interior.
      • ECLIPSEGT: fixed wheelwells sticking into the interior with some bodykits, fixed grille clipping through bottom in bodykit 4.
      • TT: fixed missing front fender doorlines in bodykit 1, stock bodykit fuelcap material changed.
      • A3: fixed misplaced wheel, some materials, UV mapping of gauge cluster, wheel positions and interior sticking out
      • SUPRA: fixed rear wiper attached to spoiler geometry.
      • CLIO: fixed missing doorlines in some bodykits, bodykit 1 exhaust no longer sticking through wheelwell.

      • SL500: Fixed geometry issues in G-Force hood, fixed flipped UV mapping on stock bodykit car bottom, fixed materials in Fusion hood.
      • LANCEREVO8: fixed body-colored radiator and corrected missing and excess geometry in body kit 1, added missing grille geometry in aftermarket hoods.

      • MONARO: fixed materials and texturing for LOD_A side mirrors and other parts, removed stock hood intake doorlines baked in aftermarket kits, fixed stock spoiler doorlines baked in stock bodykit, added missing doorline in bodykit 1, fixed gap between hood and bumper on some body kits.
      • MUSTANGGT: antenna material was changed to make it more visible, fixed brakelight and some bodykit grill UV mapping, front badge position in bodykit 4, fixed brakes position.
      • CAYMANS: specific wheel size, ride height and extra pitch settings for bodykit 5 (Unlimiter v4 only)
      • 997S: added 2 more exhaust markers to stock bodykit, fixed materials in LOD_C/D mirrors.
      • CORVETTE: fixed materials, textures and mapping of foglight and reverse light glass, added missing doorlines to mirrors and bodykits 2, 3, and 4.
      • GALLARDO: added missing front bumper side vent grilles in bodykit 4, fixed UV mapping and doorlines in bodykit 2, 3 and 4, tweaked Edge spoiler marker.
      • 911TURBO: front vent mapping of body kit 3 corrected.
      • FORDGT: fixed broken front fenders in bodykit 1, tweaked Edge spoiler marker.
      • CARRERAGT: fixed UV mapping in rear caliper's LOD_A, fixed missing geometry in bodykit 2.
      • SLR: fixed inconsistent vent materials across aftermarket hoods.
      • BMWM3GTRE46: fixed pitch black decal bug, fixed windshield clips materials in LOD_B, fixed thicker left doorline in LOD_A, fixed missing polygons in LOD_A and LOD_B interior.
      • CORVETTEC6R: fixed pitch black decal bug, fixed gap between interior and body, added missing side windows, fixed roof geometry in LOD_A, fixed missing geometry on foglights and brake caliper positions were corrected.
      • SL65: fixed flipped UV mapping on stock bodykit car bottom.
      • 911GT2: fixed incorrect materials and textures in side mirrors.
      • COPMIDSIZE & COPGHOST: fixed inconsistent materials across LODs in doors, fixed mapping in damaged rear door grills (COPMIDSIZE), removed rear door grilles in damaged model (COPGHOST).
      • COPGTO: fixed lopsided UV mapping in damage LODs.
      • COPSPORT, COPSPORTGHOST & COPSPORTHENCH: fixed missing brakes, fixed gaps between interior and body.
      • COPSUV & COPSUVL: fixed driver texture and in-race ride height, fixed brakelight and front/rear siren marker positions, fixed material in interior and missing polygons in its LOD_B, fixed missing front bumper geometry, fixed side mirror, front door sills and sirens geometry, added missing headlight glass, rear window now attached to trunk.
        • cleaned up bits of COPSUV in COPSUVL LOD_B

      • CEMTR & TRAFCEMTR: added brakelights to model and textures, added reverse light markers.
      • GARB & TRAFGARB: added brakelights to model and textures, added brakelight and reverse markers.
      • TAXI & TRAFTAXI: fixed materials in exhaust tip and brakelights in LODs
      • TRAF4DSEDA: fixed materials and textures for exhaust and front badge.

    • Changed engine sounds for the CTS, A3, TT and CLK500

      • Tweaked perfomance for Punto and Supra (the former with the 1.4 T-Jet specs and the latter to the non-turbo specs)

    Installation
    • Extract the contents of the archive into a folder.
    • In Binary 2.5.5 or greater, click on Launch Binary For Users (left big button) and open the the smol fix for NFSMW Installer.end file. Follow the on-screen instructions and save when prompted.
    • In NFS-VLTEd or OGVI, import (File > Import > Modscript for VLTEd, File > Import for OGVI) the nfsmw_smolfix.nfsms file and click Install, then save.
      • You might get 2 to 4 errors regarding "invalid parameter count, "command is out of bounds" or "property not found"; you can ignore those (it's due both VLTEd and OGVI commands being included)

One last small thing I noticed: on the **BMW M3 GTR**, when light hits the rear of the car, there's a small dark line/artifact just above the BMW emblem on the trunk. It's especially noticeable on the **blue-gray Hero vinyl** version, while it's barely visible on the other paint colors, so it's easy to miss. I attached a screenshot to show exactly what I mean. @KANE:
-there won't be an option to keep the original engine sounds: the changes are to match better the cars.
-both the resized SUVL and Punto performance tweaks (with the corresponding sound tweaks) are already optional, as stated in the readme and installers.

On the stock Punto, because the car has been lowered, if you slowly drive over a speed bump while turning left or right and look at the front of the car with the free camera, you can see the front wheels sticking out past the fenders. It doesn't look natural.

The same thing happens on the Golf with the wider body kits. When viewed from the rear, the rear wheels stick out beyond the fenders, which looks quite odd and takes away from the original appearance.

Another suggestion is about the SUVs' size. In the original game, the SUVs are smaller, and I actually prefer that look. It would be great if you could add an optional setting to keep the original SUV size while still applying any necessary fixes.

I've also noticed an issue with the Punto and the Golf so far. It probably affects other cars whose ride height has been modified as well.

I personally prefer the original naturally aspirated (non-turbo) Punto engine sound, and I wasn't happy that it was replaced after installing the mod.

The installer also currently has options for the SUV and Punto. I tried installing the mod both with those options checked and unchecked, but the result was exactly the same. They don't seem to do anything, unless I'm missing something.
