Known Issues:

- None so far.
- Please report if you see any other issues.

IMPORTANT: If you have NFSMW Mod Loader, remove it. This mod WILL BREAK Mod Loader compatibility.

1) Create backups of these files:
- Frontend: FrontB.lzc, FrontA.bun
- Global: Attributes.bin, FE_Attrib.bin, Gameplay.bin, Gameplay.lzc, GlobalB.bun, GlobalB.lzc
- Languages: Whole folder

2) Install NFSMW Unlimiter:

3) Install the "lancerevo9 install.nfsms" using NFS-VltEd:
1) Download NFS-VltEd and install it (current version is 4.6):
2) Open NFS-VltEd. When the main window appears, select File > Open from the menu bar.
3) A new dialog box will appear. Choose your game installation directory.
4) Select File > Import > ModScript from menu bar, or press "Ctrl+I".
5) Select the "lancerevo9 install.nfsms" from the dialog and click OK.
6) Mod script installation dialog will appear. Click Install to install the mod.
7) Save the files by selecting File > Save from menu bar, or pressing "Ctrl+S".
8) Quit the tool.
- Note: It's recommended to reinstall the car with every new update. But when you do that, VltEd may show some errors. You can safely ignore them.

4) Add other required stuff in game files using Ed:
1a) If you don't have Ed, download it from here:
1b) If you have Ed, copy the contents of "Ed" folder into your copy of "Ed".
2) Run the tool using "Ed.exe" file.
3) From the menu bar, click open and select your game installation directory.
4) Click "Apply" button. The files should get created in the folder you used the tool.
5) Quit the tool.

5) If this is the first mod you are installing, use the "Unlock Memory Files" option in Tools menu of Ed.

6) Run your game and create a new save game.

7) Enjoy your new car!

Changelog: (+ Addition, * Change, ! Attention, - Deletion)
* Re-worked exhaust mountpoint positions on all body kits.
* Added a new performance model for this mod, thanks to KenjaMago!

* Fixed an issue with the installation modscript where the frontend logos would be of the Lancer Evo 8 and not the Evo 9. (NEW SAVE GAME REQUIRED TO APPLY THIS FIX!)

* Fixed exhaust mountpoint positions on all body kits.

* Fixed the front grills of KIT01 and KIT04. Now they use the proper mesh from KIT00 (was a bit of an oversight on the Carbon dev's part to use the Lancer Evo VIII's grill on the Evo IX-MR's KIT04).
+ Added .z3d support to the Sources folder for ZModeler users.

* Replaced KIT02 from Most Wanted with the variant from NFS Carbon.
* Updated installation modscript to change KIT02 wheel positions for new variant.

2020/04/30 @2:31pm EST:
* Fixed KIT00 UV Mapping issues.
* Fixed installation modscript.

! Initial release.

- The Blender Foundation for Blender, where most of the conversion was done.
- nlgzrgn for Ed, the NFSMW Unlimiter, and for his help with fixes to the stock kit.

Sonic49PH (December 19, 2021 @ 03:54)

trackmaniamatt (November 04, 2021 @ 20:52)
@BoLiLit Use the download link in the description of the mod. The one in the ReadMe file is an older link, which is down.

BoLiLit (November 03, 2021 @ 07:48)
why ? the link is longer not available

apprentice1914 (September 27, 2021 @ 22:27)
can you make a Binary installation method instead of Ed?
