Update: Worked quite well for some time and then it doesn't. The glitch is tough to remove

If you are dissatisfied by the windowed mode, you should get a windowed to full screen converter. I recommend this one https://westechsolutions.net/sites/WindowedBorderlessGaming/

You can install this and you can see the manual as to how to enable and disable the full screen. It basically works as a fake full screen mode, but it works I promise.

I have seen that many people are suffering from the problem of the sky getting green after the first race. I too had the same problem, but I got a solution for this. Download NFSCarbonExtraOptions. Now in the Misc sub heading of the configuration file, set WindowedMode = 2. I haven't tried 1 really but you can figure that out. By default it will be 0.

Now, you can run this shader well without any problems, in windowed mode though.
