VOL INF is a W.I.P. audiovisual overhaul for NFS Unbound, featuring new lighting, new car sounds and Quality-Of-Life improvements in one pack.
Alpha 3.1 patch:
- For a lack of free time, I completely missed that a good half of my mod completely broke, especially the Overcast preset.
- These problems have been remedied.
Alpha 3.0.2 hotfix:
- Fixed corrupted minimap textures
Alpha 3.0.1 hotfix:
- Removed all sound mods for the time being since most were broken (they will return, don't worry!)
- Removed custom loading screen, should improve compatibility across new updates
- Updated to Volume 6
Alpha 3 includes:
- A new Dawn preset
- A new Twilight preset
- New audio for the RX-7, F40 and FXX-K Evo
- New checkpoint colors in races
- Bugfixes for the Overcast preset
- The color correction changes are now properly applied

Alpha 2 includes:

- Removed pause menu effects
Alpha 1 includes:
- A revamped Overcast
- New audio for the M3 GTR, Regera, F1 and R34 GT-R
- Uncapped performance rating, S+ cars will show their actual PR instead of being locked at "400+" (this is only visual and doesn't affect gameplay)
Requirements:
Usage guide:
- Extract the .7z archive
- Open Frosty Mod Manager (not the Editor!)
- If you have not yet created a profile for NFS Unbound, click on "Scan for games" and click on NFS Unbound once it's finished
- If that doesn't work, click on "New", locate NFS Unbound's ".exe" file and open it
- If it tells you that the SDK is outdated, follow the on-screen instructions
- If it asks you for the encryption key: B0E04030409080C010708010E0B0B02
- Click "Import Mod(s)" and select the .7z archive or the .fbmod file
- You can also drag and drop these on FMM's window
- Apply the mod
- Click "Launch", and the game should launch with the applied mods
Special thanks to:
- NFSLYY for teaching me how to uncap the performance rating
- Edo for helping fixing the Overcast preset
- Jzborder for reminding me that copy and paste exists
- ARCHIE for making the Camera Toolkit and making visual mods very easy to do
- You for downloading

I don't know if I sent the reply but I wish you the best for whatever you are doing important right now. Criterion updates every twice a month and fixing your mod every time it happens sounds like it's not an easy task.7ndrew (March 26, 2024 @ 15:28)
I've hidden the mod from NexusMods because I don't have the time currently to repeatedly fix it whenever Criterion updates Unbound. For the time being (early August atleast) I won't work on the mod.TomNathan (March 26, 2024 @ 02:39)
I can't seem to find the mod on Nexus, I really liked this mod that I keep refreshing my tab just to see if it updated. Also how did you manage to get a small performance boost? That's pretty cool.Download
